Sweta Alberta joined Still Waters Counseling as a limited licensed counselor in September 2022. A recent transplant to southeast Michigan, she earned a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Loyola University Maryland and has worked in community mental health in Washington, D.C. and Monroe, MI. She provides counseling to adult, adolescent, and child clients confronting issues related to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma, and cultural identity. Sweta has also participated in mental health education efforts to reach the South Asian community. She is passionate about helping her clients achieve whole-self healing and become their own strongest advocates.
